Dear GDub,
I saw your (mostly ;-) ) thoughtful comments on DU regarding Madsen's letter. I entirely appreciate your involvement in the election fraud audit movement and your participation with other progressives in the attempt to get to the bottom of this mess. It is especially exciting to me that a fellow non-Democrat (I'm a Christian moderate Green) is focused on this non-partisan issue. You are a patriot to take up this issue that threatens the very underpinnings of our democracy. Hooray for you as a Republican to be on top this critical issue.
I wrote a thread at DU before that expressed the following: The fraudsters are not true Democrats, not true Republicans, not true Christians, not even truly patriotic Americans. They are traitors and domestic terrorists and we need to hunt them down and prosecute like we would any other terrorist. If these people can pull this crap off then why couldn't a hostile foreign terrorist group? We can not afford to allow these loopholes in our electoral proceedures to taint, undermine and potentially even leave opening for coups. We must fight for and defend our constitution with every fiber of our beings.
Regarding Madsen, it may suprise you that I have many points of agreement with you. I posted on this over and over again, but I guess my nuanced view is too complex for many to comprehend. Here it is again:
#1 as far as winning over the masses and the leaders we need NOW, it is best to stick with the most conventional and well MSM-publicized offenses (ie. voter supressesion and monkey biz with ballots and the non-recount in OH). Stick with the simple, non-controversial, incontrovertible. No eye-rolling stuff, period. I'd avoid even the BBV stuff, let alone the Madsen stuff.
#2 As far as Madsen's writings go, I really don't know which parts will prove out and which parts will fall flat, but I trust that time will tell. In the meantime I just know that from my interaction with him he has an easy-going personality type that you might not guess from his writing that seems very healthy to me. I'd even call him down right jolly. New Year's Eve when I talked to him he was on his way to a party and had to cut it short. In other words he seems very mentally
& emotionally balanced to me. Based on the good feeling I get from interaction with him and his past solid (if leading edge) investigatory record I feel he deserves to have to be heard, and so I'm going to listen to what he has to say and discuss it with others. Doesn't mean that I believe every word as gospel truth, but I'll give it a listen and check it out.
#3. I agree that his writing style can leave something to be desired. It comes across as scattered and reaching at times. Like most writers his writing improves with objective editing. I do think that gets in the way of him getting his point across at times. I also think that because his investigation has been mostly hidden from our eyes (even mine to a lesser degree than all of you) it sometimes makes it hard to follow how he's arrived at some of his conclusions and when he's reached or changed hypotheses.
#4. Even with those caveats, I find he's got a compelling narrative that with time and further investigation has the maximal probability of bringing down the whole corrupt NeoFascist threat to our constituional Republic. That is why I give it the time I do.
I completely appreciate the time and energy you've put towards saving our country and I'm proud to work with you to protect America's true democratic values.
Sincerely,
JamBoi
